Schindler's List Reaction

I understand that Schindler did good things in the end, but that does not mean he was a good man. This is an emotional and important story, but we need to evolve and grow and look at this story critically.
If you are upset that I'm calling out Schindler. Please consider that there are many people in this world still being treated with evil intentions and seen as less than human because of their race, ethnicity and identity. We have a ton of work to do and watching this movie with a comfortable state of mind that a Nazi was a good man in the end is not the way to move forward.

I feel I did my best to approach the complexity and nuances of the story and have been met with more awful messages and baby’s first death threat. I’ll turn it back on in a few days but the last few hours have been way too much for me and I’m simply unable to not check in on the video.
