It isn't explained explicitly enough in the anime version but non of the characters in Underworld are actual copies, Kikuoka scanned the souls of a bunch of newborns and then used them to create a single blank slate soul template. When someone is born in underworld they are given that blank slate template with some characteristics of their parents randomly added in. What's stopping them from copying Kirito, in a usable manner, is the same thing that is stopping them from copying their own fluctlights, the copy wouldn't be able to bear being a copy and collapse.

SAO Alicization alone are 9 volumes.

2023-09-05 17:58:17 +0000 UTCI finally watched 😆 yeah bro there is not a single NPC this isnt even a game its a civilization Simulator to create a true AI ( Not to kill but to make its own decisions and be able to choose is she must do something or not) like... you say for it to kill and she may not want to do it because is wrong. Like Alice did... she preoritize a life instead of the Tabu Index ( you will learn more about it later ). A bottom-top AI is an AI that learns by itself by experience life ( in the simulation like Alice ) Yui and Yuna are Top Down AI they cant learn more than what the programers prepared it to. You will get so much more info later but for now you have some lights... 1 -its not a Game but a Simulation. 2- Theres not a single NPC just actificial FluxtLights ( copies of new borns ( without life experience ) and some coded those are the artificial ( but with the same capacity to learn ) like the Sons of the AIs.. 3-Everything is real for those AIs thats they world they life ... they dont know of other world existence or that they are AIs.... thats why kirito experience real pain during the Gobling fight, because everithing is real. I will not dive into the AIs with access to the code because that will be explain later. Looking foward for next episodes... watching when i can because of work.. keep the good work bro.
