The whole mental image thing, it's usually called "Incarnation" in the source material, is actually quite difficult to do intentionally. You truly have to believe those things from the bottom of your heart for them to show an effect, just a superficial believe or gassing yourself up doesn't work and it's a double edged blade, if you believe negative things it will actively work against you. Like in Linea's case it wasn't just that she didn't have enough of a boost from her mental image, her mental image actively weakened her when fighting against Volo.

Kirito and Eugeo are now Elite students with their own pages Tiese and Ronnie imagine those with Kirito sword knowledge. Looking forward to episode 9... Also as long as you watch on Aniwave you dont have to worry about the skipps, Aniwave does not skipps important Stuff like (No endings / No Openings / AfterCredits ) so dont worry as long as you watch on Aniwave. Episode 9 has no ending you Will see that it wont Skip it.
