| Full Length | The Hobbit A Battle of Five Armies

This might be my favorite middle earth adventure we've gone on. I'm a sucker for emotions and can wholeheartedly say idk why people sleep on the Hobbit series. This movie solidified my appreciation of this series and journey. Enjoy the full length episode. The edited version will be up sometime between now and Tuesday. I'm a bit delayed but have all next week to catch up on editing while i'm out of town so we will be back to a more predictable edited reaction journey soon.

Not a problem about skipping the end-credits song reaction - I was just hoping. But I do think the music video is worth watching, if only for the nostalgic visuals, in your own time.

If I don't say which version I'm watching it's because I'm watching the standard version. I loved the experience and will defintily watch the extended version but just for myself. I say this a lot but I am not very musically aware so don't hold your breath for music reactions from me (even when they're credit songs). I don't hear music unless it is overstimulating me so you didn't miss any sort of reaction because It probably just would have been me with glazed eyes thinking about the ending and not hearing it. :) I'm forever jealous that people have reactions to music on a deeper level but that trait seems to have skipped my brain for whatever reason!

You didn't mention which version to watch, but because of the freeze-frame with the duration [2:24:23] I was able to play the correct one - the "Theatrical" if anyone is coming along late. I never understood the really negative feelings for this film series - I think the film works well for people coming to "The Hobbit" story who have not read the books and didn't have any background other than the LOTR films - and that's going to be the majority of the audience. I'm a big fan of the original books but I can understand the decisions the movie writers made and agree with much of it. For example, I don't think that the deaths at the end in the "The Hobbit" book are nearly as emotional as the film version. And that is set up by other earlier changes. I have no negative feelings for the series. Did you notice what Galadriel is holding when she banishes the Necromancer? Well, unless she has more of them, I'm willing to bet it's the phial she gives to Frodo later. You said "I wish Alfred ..." and then hoping something bad happens to him - well, that's what the Extended edition is for! When Legolas throws the sword to impale the orc attacking Thorin and Thorin pulls it out and points it at the screen - RIGHT AT THE SCREEN - well let's say that's a very 3D moment. I love it. BTW: they mentioned at the auction that Bilbo had been gone for 13 months. I think that's slightly too short (not sure about exact dates) but I think his total adventure time is actually a few weeks longer than Frodo's total - ignoring the 17 years it takes for Frodo to take his first step. But I have to say I'm a bit disappointed we didn't get to see your reaction to the end-credit song. It's great. I really hope you do get to see it sometime. There's a music video version of the end-credit song if you're interested (not showing the actual credits - a music video with movie clips). I could watch it again and again and again. Actually, I'd love a micro reaction video of it, if you are able to hit "record" if you do watch it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8ir8rVl2Z4

What a joy it will be to watch this with you - I was just wondering what to do today. But before I start, I'd like to post another "Air NZ" Hobbit video - actually, this is more of a NZ Tourist Agency video. This is not a joke-upon-joke video. Instead it's a video log of LOTR/Hobbit fans invited to visit the filming locations around NZ prior to the release of the last film. So, if you're interested ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1wRXyqtTyc
