The talk Arya and The Hound have about his past is one of my favorite moments in all of GoT. It’s so subtle, yet so telling. The way he says “I didn’t steal it I was just playing with it!”, along with the look in his eyes, it’s like he reverts back to being a defenseless kid trying to tell his side of the story. It’s heartbreaking. Then to have his own father take his brothers side and hide the whole incident so he could profit off of The Mountain becoming a knight, it’s genuinely so tragic, it’s why he’s always looked out for the helpless, (except the butchers boy) because he knows exactly what it’s like to be left alone in this world.
