2024-06-16 22:19:56 +0000 UTCDon't be embarrassed, it is impossible to get everything on the first watch and people are happy to give some feedback (as long as it is not a spoiler). It will definitely be enjoyable for you to watch it again, and with a friend as well. TBH, I still find little details or different perspectives that I have not understood before. It is just so deep. Yes, starting HOD at season 7 of GOT is fine. I would recommend not to start at season 6 though.

2024-06-13 22:10:29 +0000 UTCWhat you're talking about in the end, about wanting to watch this show with a friend to catch extra details, see them experience it etc is 1000% why I watch your reactions! Its impossible to catch everything on a first viewing, this is my 4th time watching the show and I'm still picking up on things I never considered. I hope that when some of us make a "if you recall back when..." style comments it doesn't come across as us being upset or unhappy with you missing things - chances are we missed things you've picked up on and vice versa on our first viewings! I think its just people wanting to add context to the more immediate plot if something is missed that feels important? Hard to judge for the individual I think what is and isn't important! Strongly agree with you saying that S5 is becoming your favorite, 4 5 and 6 are all my favorite seasons. Seeing this now very fleshed out world and its characters start to overlap, interact and clash is so much fun.
