"I am shocked!" That reminds me of a possible movie for you to react to (if you haven't already seen it): "Casablanca" from 1942 (black & white) - Oscars for Best Picture/Director/Screenplay and nominated for five others. So why did "I am shocked!" remind me of the film? It's one of the semi-famous quotes from the film (although it's actually "I'm shocked!" in the film but ... whatever) in a film that is packed with famous quotes.

"I am your density!", George McFly, "Back to the Future" This is a really fun film. And I enjoyed watching it along with you. Thanks! It's really tightly scripted too - with lots of callbacks like the "Lone Pine Mall" - well spotted! It's a film that can be watched multiple times to pick up the clever references in the script and filming. Ronald Reagan was an actor and is in fact listed as the film star at the movie theatre that Marty walks past when he first finds himself in 1955. One change I've been told about but never remember to watch for is that the original, bullied George uses his right hand after presumably being forced by society to do so, but after the (left-handed) punch he is now more confident and is left-handed in the changed future. As I say, I never remember to check whether that really is shown in the film (I just get caught up in the movie) or just an urban-legend. Perhaps, someone else in the comments knows for sure. Actually, a sequel was not planned - the end is just a funny kicker. But, it certainly lends itself to possible sequel. So, based on the short time-frame you mentioned in your intro, I imagine you have already watched "Back to the Future II", but as I mentioned in a previous posting, in case you haven't, at the end of "Back to the Future II" there is a movie trailer with spoilers for "Back to the Future III". The films came out only six months apart so it made sense to advertise the third film at the end of the second. Anyway, if you haven't already watched it, when you see the "To Be Concluded" caption you might want to pause the movie to avoid the spoilers.
