Full Length | Back to the Future 3

The ending of an amazing trilogy and such a fun adventure! Thank you for sharing in this ride to the future and the past and everything in between. It was always our density :)

apologies for the mic quality. I had to reset my sources and used my camera mic, which it could deff be worse but is definitely a different sound experience

I believe they did say my favorite density line! It's so funny what lines stand out to us in movies. I still don't know why that one gave me such a chuckle and has stuck with me. But here we are. Phenomenal recounting of the easter eggs in this one! I was trying so hard to see if they renamed the ravine but I did in fact miss it so thank you for calling it out! I knew in my gut it would likely have been changed because history was changed but I got wrapped up in it all. I think the layering of the first movie in this one is well done and something that makes it a fun final watch for the series.

I'm glad you enjoyed the musical - did they use our favourite "density" line? And thanks, again, for sharing these movies with us. This one has a nice linear "Western" plot without the timey-wimey stuff from the second film. Well, there's obviously a time-machine involved but we don't get caught up in changing the future and reliving bits of it - just the ordinary trying-to-stay-alive movie ideas. I do like the reprise of the 1955 lightning storm - it's THE moment from the franchise and it really pulls you back into the series again. Oh, and that hat-lamp for Copernicus in the mine - so, so cute! I like the references to Jules Verne especially the "Journey to the Center of the Earth" reference to the use of the person's initials to direct the future explorers. I like the 1959 film of the same name - it doesn't have much relationship to the original 1874 book but it stars James Mason (and his wonderful voice). Now, I like the film, but it's not a reaction recommendation. And I never saw the 2008 remake. I haven't read much about this film, but Lea Thompson's role as Maggie works as a nice echo of the her previous characters. However, although Marty is obviously related to Maggie, Maggie can't be related to Marty's mother, Lorraine, so much that she looks just like her, can she? Perhaps someone else has an explanation. Did you notice the new clock getting taken off the train as our pair were discussing speeds with the train driver? I love Mary Steenburgen as Clara. It's her second love-across-time film - she was in the 1979 film: "Time After Time". Now, I think, that one IS worth reacting to. It stars Malcolm McDowell and David Warner as well. (There was a remake TV series but it was quickly cancelled.) After Marty uses the door to the metal stove as protection, we recall that in 1985, rich Biff was watching "A Fistful of Dollars" starring Clint Eastwood with the same trick. When the train goes into the ravine, I am reminded of the famous train stunt in Buster Keaton's silent comedy masterpiece "The General". However, given the subject matter, I don't know if people are allowed to enjoy it these days. But it is undoubtedly a masterpiece. Oh, and at the end, did you notice that the ravine has now been renamed "Eastwood" because "Clint Eastwood" was the one who crashed in it? It's a really great series and a great way to end it!
