Organization! Update! Read all about it here!

Now that I'm back to full steam modding, I wanted to get more organized. So, as you can see from the screenshot, I've created a Trello account and put some of my projects. I'm still doing a little organization of the tasks in each project, but in the screenshot you can see one of my project Trello boards with the tasks and statuses.

Visions

So what is Visions? After take a break for almost two months, I talk with some friends and also listened to some feedback from some of my Discord members. One thing I did do during the break was a little work on making new faces for some of the previous replacers I did. Aela, Jordis, Iona, and others. These were replacers I just wasn't happy with. There is at least one in every pack of the nine packs for Pantheon.

Besides that, I've wanted to update the Pantheon assets with some new features. After talking to my friend Silver (the CEO of Milfactory), who did some interesting stuff with his own asset pack, I decided to do something similar myself. After I started theorycrafting how it would work out I realized that these ideas might not be what some people wanted. Hence, I decided to create a new series called Visions. This way you can keep Pantheon and just skip Visions if you don't like these features. You will miss out on some of the new face designs, so its a tradeoff and decision only you can make. You can also use both, and with proper load order management, that should be no problem.

So now to answer the question. What is Visions? One of my skillsets is database development. I haven't done it seriously now for years, but back in the day I did a lot of database design. One of the most known methodologies for database design is normalization. In simple terms, data normalization is the practice of organizing data entries to ensure they appear similar across all fields and records, making information easier to find, group and analyze. I applied these methodologies when I created my plugins and asset packs for my mods. Reusing assets and records that NPCs would share and other types of things.

Visions will take this a step further. Imagine only having to download the asset pack (which I predict will be even smaller in file size than Pantheon's - but with the same visual quality) and then the NPC pack for all 90+ NPCs but the file size is smaller than 1 Pantheon NPC pack of 10 NPCs? Well, if this is all just making your head explode, let me just spell out specific features that will make at least some of you excited:

This mod will take me a while to release a first version of. I'm going to juggle it between my voiced character updates I've started to work on since I got back from my break. I want to stress that I have made some new faces that will only be in Visions and which I hope are my best work yet. Again, everything is free and you will be able to download it from Nexus.

If you got through this wall of text I commend you. Thank you for supporting me as I continue my journey of Skyrim modding!
