Modquake! A Skyrim Update Story
Added 2023-12-05 18:40:12 +0000 UTCHello my wonderful fans and Patrons. As many of you might know, and may be experiencing, a new Skyrim update was released into the wilds today. Once again, we are hit with a modquake! Things breaking, mods needing updating, load orders being decimated.
How will this effect ColdSun's modding you ask? Well, like others, I did save my Skyrim completely on another drive as a backup in case this happened. So, I'm safe from the mess. That said, I think its about time I update my load order to a newer version of Skyrim. I'm currently on 1.597 and realizing I'm quickly being left in the dust with some of the new features announced in today's patch notes.
So, yes, there will be a delay in my more detailed mods of about 3-5 days as I compile this new load order and tweak my mods. I figure now, when others are also suffering from broken load orders due to unwanted updates, is a good time for me to do an update! Bear with me oh wonderful friends. I won't leave you high and dry. I'm still on schedule for replacers and presets. This will only delay the big mods with voices and more than 2 NPCs. I ask for your patience and understanding while I join the rest of you with a newer version of Skyrim.
Have a wonderful day!

It's the right decision. It's all about playing the game the way we want, as I see it. And for us that's been playing the game since forever, 1.5.97 is still a very good choice and will be so for quite a while, I think. Looking forward to more mods from you!
