First Char Concept Reward
Added 2017-08-22 04:04:35 +0000 UTCHey Folks...worked on the first Char Concept the last couple of days... It seems like some of you didn't exactly know what I meant by creating new Chars so I did an example on Robert Smith's idea (which my bf have choosen)...In the future I will gather ideas until the end of the month in order to give you time to concider your thoughts.
So I present to you the Satyr Trunken.
Started with a mind map to gather some additional ideas...
(green = additional thoughts)
Second step is to do some silhouett sketches in order to get a feel for proportions and create an interesting shape.
Then I took some shapes I liked and did some ideation sketches...
After I got a certain feel for the char I did more silhouett sketches of the head in particular and did some experiments with horns, hair and shape of face...
Did some thumbnails for the face and combined ideas I gathered while working on the silhouetts...
Finaly I took things I liked the most always concidering the first briefing...
he should be a lil unstable/ easy to mesmerize...so I thought it would be fun if he have a thing for wine...the red nose and the covered eyes make him look tipsy
Robert wanted to have a tatooed char so I tryed to figure out what kind of tattoos he would most likely wear...
nature themed like flowers would work cause he live in the forest... grapes and a jar for his love for wine... greek symbols like libra or lambda (gay activists)...
and finaly some polishing, readjustments and close up sketches for the bg
I hope you guys like how he turned out. I am looking forward to your feedback and thoughts... Also I would like to know what you think about that kind of reward for the 15$+ pledge...
