Hello! I hope you're doing well? Good news--It's September.

Kickstarter. It's about time to print some books.

This month, in a few weeks, I'll not only be launching a campaign to reprint Year One, but I hope to stir up enough funding to print Check, Please: Year Two. In what can only be described as a massive pre-order bonanza, the Year Two kickstarter will be a three-week-long event with the goal of bringing Eric Bittle's story back into bound and printed form!

You might have a bajillion questions and they will definitely be answered! I've been working on this for quite some time and I'm still finalizing rewards, shipping dates, and fulfillment strategies. But you're reading about the news here first, and patrons will be the first to know when I have more info.

ETA:  Feel free to share this info! Though some patrons might not check their emails as frequently and they might want to read the news here before seeing it somewhere else. I'll be sharing this info on the main blog later this month anyway. I appreciate you guys and wanted to let you all know first!

Updates. Also this month are updates. Five separate comics should be posted during the last half of September. And whew—from thumbnails to roughs to inks—it feels like I've posted half of the comics on the behind the scenes blog already, but there are still so many panels and scenes I can't wait to share with you guys!

Livestreams. Sunday evening streams have been going fantastically. I hope to maintain this schedule for the time being! If there's a change in plan--like moving a stream to Saturday or Monday--I'll let you know. Thanks for making livestreams a blast!

Finally—and know I'm a broken record—but thank you. Thank you so much for your continued support and for your kindness. Working on this comic has been one of the most difficult yet rewarding things I've ever undertaken, and your support makes things that much easier. Thank you!

Patreon doesn't have sticky posts , so here's info/FAQs for patrons old and new:

★ Behind-The-Scenes Blog. All patrons who pledged to this tier-level will get the new password sent to them a few days after pledges are processed at the beginning of each month. If you're subscribing in the middle of the month, you should search for this month's password under creator posts.

★ Livestreams. Picarto includes an interactive chat so you can talk to other patrons. (Please keep the discussion PG-13.) If you miss out on a stream, you can access it on my Picarto page until the next livestream. Some of the streams get downloaded, tagged, and cross-posted to the behind-the-scenes and here.

☆ Watching Picarto Streams on Mobile. A few people on the livestream figured out a way to watch streams on mobile. The Puffin web browser supports Java, so after downloading the mobile app:(1) Open stream in browser(2) Click the menu button at the bottom of your screen(3) Choose "open desktop site"--enjoy!
