Livestream This Evening

I'm currently NOT streaming now, but I plan on doing a stream around 6PM EST this evening. (Here on Picarto.) It's finishing up the last bits of 3.10, so spoilers. If all works out, I should be able to get 3.10 posted to the behind the scenes blog for patrons late tonight.
I really wanted to do more streams this week, but between working out kickstarter backer issues, posting blogs, and updating in general, it's been admittedly a bit tough. Thank you all so much for your patience and support. Next week should be a lot more quiet, and I hope to get back on it.

The pacing in these last four is subtle and powerful. Deepening tension, gentleness and a deft slight-of-hand kept turning me around — knowing the heart of the story, knowing how implicitly I trust you as a writer, I was still surprised, and always by generosity. By your skill and your strength. I spent most of an MFA learning that a novel has to carry a life-and-death risk, but if it does, it can come alive. If the dragon is real, then you can show someone standing unarmed against the flame. Will and pain, warmth and need and bare holding on, and all the things that matter. This story matters. And it will be with me for a long time.

That moment when it becomes checking practice, one person standing with another in the face of fear and saying 'you're not alone.' When you got to 'let me in?' and it hit home what that meant, I wanted to cry. And cheer.
