I'm so excited to be able to share a sneak peak of my next graphic novel project, which I've been writing and thumbnailing all year, talking to my editor about and getting notes on. I'm only just now creating the actual art for the comic. So I actually have a story to show you!!
This graphic novel is the story of a black scholarship student who is in her senior year at a private boarding school, who ends up switching bodies with her crush--who happens to be a rich, white, athletic boy.
Chi-Chi, our protagonist, is this poor black kid at Mission Springs Preparatory School and her only wish before she graduates is that she wants to go to senior festive with Flip Henderson, who is the most popular guy at school.
