It's November!

Over the years, I've said "yes" to many projects. I like the excitement of exploring a new idea. The only downside to starting new projects is, ah, you suddenly have many many projects. You might, say, be working on a 7-year old zine that you started because you wanted to visit Madison, Georgia in 2015. Or you might, for example, have to do weeks-long revisions on a very fun graphic novel about softball and art school. Or—just throwing out hypotheticals here—you might have 47 fan comics that you wrote and thumbnailed and started drawing, but will never ever gestate to completion. Starting projects? Fun. But dangerous.

Jack and Bitty, a bit embarrassed.

I'm learning! Which is why I spent the month of October doing the unthinkable—finishing projects. That's right, I spent my favorite month finishing up MADISON (which I finished coloring and designing, for the most part, we're at 98%) and revising the script for THE SOFTBALL GRAPHIC NOVEL (which, Mad Rupert is doing fantastic pencils for).

With Madison complete, I'm...done drawing comics about Check, Please! for a very long time. You might be wondering: "WHEN will we see a Huddle 4!" and I answer you with "YEARS FROM NOW!" I'm trying to not start projects, remember!

And in the spirit of completing projects, this month I will be returning my focus to FLIP, my next graphic novel. I have over 200 pages penciled and it'll be a marathon sprint to the finish line.

And that's it for me! Thanks guys!
