Every episode of this show gets better and better, and here, again -- so much set up! This second act is just going to BE set up, isn't it? We have:
* Jayce getting set up (by Mel)
* Viktor getting set up (to die? NO! I am in denial)
* Jinx getting set up (for character development, me thinks?)
* Marcus getting set up (for character development TOO, me thinks?)
* Vi getting set up...with Caitlyn? I'm 100% here for it!
Nothing bad will surely come from the pieces being moved on the board here, right? RIGHT? My brother isn't giving me any hints. ^^ But that's a good thing.

Vi and Cait are definitely adorable -- I love how they play off each other!! And that is a really interesting perspective with Jinx and Silco -- I like the idea that he wants her to "be herself" and free herself from her past to have a better future if that is the case -- but yeah, Silco is probably not the best influence for her with her trauma and mental state of being. And yes, reinforcing and overlooking is exactly what he's doing with her, and I'm not so sure he's in control of the consequences of that. Their dynamic is VERY intriguing and I'm curious where it's going to go! Speaking of curious, your comment on Mel! Bwahahaha, Mel's intriguing -- Spacemonkey noted it in a prior episode, but she'd fit right in at King's Landing, me thinks. :) Thanks for the comment!!

2022-02-23 20:55:34 +0000 UTCI agree, Vi and Cait are adorable together. I don't think Silco necessarily wants to mold Jinx after himself. Of course the reason he took her in was because he saw himself in her, but his "baptism" seems to come from a truely genuine place and for her to be herself and fulfill her potential (as he sees it). Silco is this buttoned up mobster with strict rules and Jinx is this agent of chaos so if molding was the plan it doesn't seem to going well. Of course what Jinx actually needs (in her current state of mind/trauma) isn't to have her every whim and impulse either reinforced or overlooked by an immoral mob boss. I was going to somewhat defend Mel here but... im just gonna wait a bit.
