**HEADPHONE WARNING - SCREAMING INVOLVED**
WELP. So the vampires are attacking, we meet Guren's "squad" and they are badass, and Yu makes a vow to stick with his new "family" now that they've reunited...
...the one hiccup with all this? Mika is fighting Guren, Yu's mentor, and their reunion is....NOT AT ALL what I expected. SHOW, you just got a LOT more intriguing! Holy smokes. Apologies for getting carried away with the screams, haha!

YES! Mika just wanted them all to get away and sacrificed so much and ended up being the cause of their demise...it's so tragic! :( And then to add insult to injury, he gets stabbed by the one person he's looked for! UGH. THE REUNION, indeed! The expressions on both their faces was HEARTBREAKING! T-T

He definitely is on my radar -- and his squad is SO intriguing! I am excited to hopefully see more of them! And Ferid is sooooo diva-ish; I kind of find it endearing. XD And yes, UGH, the consequences of many characters' choices on full display....but how deep will the impact of those choices be? I'm so intrigued! Yesss, I get the still action frames and that they were saving money -- it was noticeable, compared to some of the other series I've seen, but then...it's fine! There still was some REALLY good shots in this episode, especially with Guren vs. Mika! :)

He gave up his blood multiple times just to get information and tools but it ended up causing the death of his family... and on top of that he’s forced to become a vampire. Now he is never comfortable because he refuses to give in and drink from humans like the others. THE REUNION. Mika’s “Yu-chan” when he gets stabbed and the change in Yu’s expression seeing Mika, who he thought died with the others 🥺😭

And the name means..."Midday's Night" I love how the Guren squad has such different weapons. Yup, Puff the magic demon pipe, LOL Ferid is such a DIVA, always posing, always playing/toying with Mika while trying to make a point. Consequences of your choices. Choosing revenge Yu, winds up stabbing Mika with out thinking first. Choosing his NEW family the Demon army, Yu stabs Mika. For Mika his choice to try to escape the vampires, to save his family winds up setting all of them on a different path. Consequences of his choice. The "still" action frames are just a method for the production team to save money on the episode. It takes a lot less time to "illustrate" and animate an action scene like that than to actually take the time to animate it.
