Eight is my lucky number, and my "Rule of 8" stands; this was my brother's favorite episode and it's one of mine, too! SO much going down in this episode, as we have QUITE the unlikely alliances forging, character motivations are leading them to startling developments all around, and the entire story is building up to the season finale!
Act III is shaping up to maybe being my favorite of the series and I can't wait to see what will happen for the season finale! I'm excited to talk with you all about this one!

But it all makes sense now! :) I like when shows prove me wrong like this -- it was a pleasant surprise to say the least! And YES! I was fully waiting on Caitlyn's mother to be awful and not understanding at all (especially with Vi introduced), but again -- pleasant surprise! I definitely agree that Cait seems more of a "daddy's girl," which plays up with Vi being a "daddy's girl" to Vander too, I suppose. And YES, I think the mother knew what was up with her "friend" as well, which is why I was pleasantly surprised and happy with her support in this episode. :) Thanks for the comment! I can't believe there's only one episode of the season left.

2022-03-17 18:38:32 +0000 UTCHere we thought Mel was this manipulative devious warmonger... then it turns out she is the soft lefty hippie of her family, everything is relative. I like how the they made even minor characters more then just one-dimensional caricatures. Take Caitlyns mom whom easily could just be this cold upper-class parody with a condescending voice, wich she kinda is, but here it shows she is supportive and listens to Caitlyn (although i get the feeling Cait is more of a daddy's girl). I'm also convinced she knows excatly what's going on between Cait and Vi, with that delivery of "friend" and the way she seems to "nod" for Cait to go after Vi at the council chambers. Vi might not be her first choice for Cait but she's being accepting.
