Oh, oh friends. Season 1 callbacks? Seeing characters back from the dead? All the insane connections to the current season?! Am I going to use this 12-episode series as a means of post-Season 4 AOT Therapy? YUP!!
I haven't laughed this much at Attack on Titan...ever? I'm so hyped for this series, to help bring some levity as I work on the Season 4 Part 2 Recap!

I love that AOT is the "big sister" to AOT:Jr. High! XD And YES, cuteness overload with a hint of that macabre humor! The creators really love tying in to the main show to this and there are some genius callbacks! I'm so excited to get more into it!

But still, it feels SO GOOD to laugh in a non-morbid-dark-humor sense with AOT for once and see all of the oldie-but-goodies from Season 1. I do agree, there's still that element of melancholy after you've seen the whole series, whether it's intentional or not, but I'll take it at this point! :D

But it sure does have an undercurrent of melancholy when you have watched the main series. Not sure your shipper heart can take all this cuteness.
