OH. MY. GOSH. I am LOVING this arc so far! There's so much to get excited and love about with this volume: DRAGON INTERNAL CONVERSATIONS, Yona & Hak angst, Jae-Ha development, SOO-WON SHOWING UP! Oh, and Yona is a badass and we may have a battle coming up...no big deal!
I can't believe this arc is set to end next volume...I don't think I can wait a week, y'all! This story is getting SO GOOD! Thank you for not spoiling me! <3

I tried to use Lili, and it just didn't sound right, despite it fitting with the flower symbolism, so I'll probably stick with Riri, hahaha! :D Glad to know the world is on board with Tetra and Ayura! I love them as badass body guards! And yessssss, Soo-Won is still so GUARDED -- we don't really get to know what he's thinking, which is great for the mystery of him but I want to knoooooow, hahaha! But I know the people in the fandom use both. So it really doesn't matter which one you say. Ayura and Petra are 100% a thing. I love that so often we don't see Soo-won's expressions. We had this so much during the series. It also makes me frustrated because I want to see how he feels.

His presence in the story adds such an interesting layer of complexity to everything else going on I’m always like !!!!! whenever he appears. The actions he takes/doesn’t take and the emotional ramifications of him just being around, oof!! And then Lilli and jaeha being thrown into the mix, such fun dynamics to balance out the potential angst. Cant wait for next week!!

Their story is the core of this story. I can't wait to scream about everything that is to come next volume and throughout what will come even further in the future 😂😭

I love the cover -- it's feminine with the flowers, but clear these ladies are not to be trifled with! :) I love how Kusanagi takes stereotypical "princess/damsel" tropes and flips them in this series, while still making Yona a beautiful, (somewhat) delicate character, who also has strength to her in more ways than one. :)

2022-04-29 17:58:39 +0000 UTCThis series is SO good at making what seem to be (or start out as) stereotypical naive and spoiled princesses/noble ladies develop naturally into the wise badasses they are now. The comment about the cover art is funny that way. The mangaka TRIED to make it flowery and feminine but it somehow turned into “come near us and we will cut you.”
