Remember when Eren's friends were happy for him and things were optimistic? It's fun to go back to those days, eh?
This episode was so cute! Tying back to Episode 3 of Season 1 (It's BEEN a WHILE) and to season 1 in general (with some SURPRISE cameos throughout), and it was good to see Rico again and relive some of the happier moments of the series, back during the "simpler" times. Good stuff!

It DID sound like something from the past...hmmmm...I'll need to think about that! I do love that, too, that it feels like a lore drop, even thought this is a parody series -- I like the idea that the first group of individuals that wanted to take on the titans weren't "popular," which I'm sure is tied to how the idea of "fighting the titans" was perceived by the citizens of the Wall Kingdom when it was first proposed. :)

Are they the same names? i'm not sure and haven't gone back to check, but some of the names did sound familiar. With how this show parodies, heightens and remixes regular AoT i found it interesting how the ODM-gear was portrayed here, seemingly invented by an unpopular group, now almost extinct, that felt that they had to do something (about titans tagging the wall 😂). We know very little about the origin of the ODM-gear but it is somewhat mysterious.
