I was excited by Erwin making a cameo in this episode, and while that WAS great, the REAL surprise was seeing FRIEDA -- a character we won't encounter until season THREE of the main series -- and the fact that she engages with both Historia AND Eren? Intriguing, indeed!
This episode was creepy, kooky, mysterious and spooky; altogether ooky! But I really enjoyed it!

YES! That was in Season 3, though, and with this taking place in between Seasons 1 and 2, it's crazy they featured this SO far ahead of where the anime was (but someone on YouTube commented the manga was in Season 3 territory, so the writers knew about Frieda) -- it's great! I love it!
