After many requests, and because it's both the month of Pride and start of summer, I'm re-watching one of my go-to comfort anime and discussing it! And we're doing the English dub, because it's ADORABLE.
I hope you all enjoy the next month or so, as I discuss this wholesome ice-skating anime and hopefully, we'll spark MAPPA to life to finish the Ice Adolescence movie.

Oh, that is awesome that you danced professionally -- and that you have an audition as a teacher! You're a mix of Victor and Yuri! :D I hope that you get the position and I'm glad that you found this anime! It's definitely inspiring!! :D :D

2022-06-15 14:31:09 +0000 UTCThis is the first time that I've ever watched Yuri on Ice, even though I've known about the series since my high school years... but this has already been really inspiring to me. I danced professionally for 11 years, but left it back in 2019 cause I desperately needed a break. Between that and the pandemic, I honestly thought that my career had ended with a whimper. However, a few months ago I started to put out resumes and started to workout again, and in two days I have a second-round audition at a studio for a full time teaching position. So, this was a great way to wrap up my day after having spent the last 4 hours working on lesson plans.
