Episode 5 is so much fun as we see Yuri learn the value and trajectory of self-worth, but then...Episode 6?! The new skaters! The shenanigans! The short programs! THE EROS!
I forgot just how much I love episodes 5 and 6 and how they have some AMAZING Yuri on Ice moments...it's been fun reliving this series so far and it's all uphill from here!

I LOVE Pichit and his "Shall We Skate" is so perfect for him! Leo's song is great too, but I agree -- I wanted to see more of both performances! That is SUCH a great point about Victor, too! At first, I thought Victor was trying to make a joke to ease the confusion/tension in the room, but now that you mention it...wow, it can be too that Yuri's statement about love went over his head...OOOHH, our poor, oblivious skating gentlemen, haha!! At least Victor is looking out for Yuri's public image with that tie, haha!

2022-06-22 21:57:18 +0000 UTCPichit’s Shall we skate and Leo’s Still Alive songs are two of my absolute favorites from the series, I wish their routines could’ve been a little longer so we could fully appreciate the shows beautiful soundtrack. Also at the end of episode 5 when Yuri is discussing his theme: love on tv he is speaking in Japanese. And since Victor doesn’t understand what he’s saying the line about Yuri’s love for Victor goes straight over his head. So he only comments on Yuri’s ugly-ass tie.
