I forgot how much I LOVE the Cup of China episodes and the Rostelecom Cup episodes! I hate that we end halfway through our trip to Russia, but these episodes are some of my favorites in the season -- SO many iconic moments between Victor and Yuri, alongside the other cast of characters we've been introduced to so far...
...but oh, J.J. I feel sorry if you like his character in this show. I'm going to poke fun at him a lot. Bear with me. ^^

I will admit, Episode 7 and 10 of this season are hard to beat for me! :) And YESSSS, JJ's theme is SO CATCHY -- it will be stuck in one's head for days! He intended it that way, didn't he? Haha!! I also love that about Eros vs. Agape in Episode 8! It's so good: Yuri performs his best Eros to woo Victor against his home country,, very Eros-like, and Yurio performs his worst Agape because his grandfather - harboring his unconditional love - is NOT there. It's poetic, almost, eh? :)

2022-06-28 00:32:22 +0000 UTCIt’s the iconic kiss heard round the world! I know you always say episode 8 tends to be your favorite of a series. But for me it’s always been episode 7 and this is why. I actually love J.J’s “Theme of King JJ” song. It’s like love or hate it, its super catchy. It was stuck in my head for at least a year after the show ended and now I have a soft spot for the Canadian anthem. Also it’s interesting to think this is the cleanest we’ll see of Yuri’s “Eros” for the rest of the season. Meanwhile this was Yurio’s worst performance of his “Agape” truly they’re two sides of the same coin.
