This volume seems like an in-between after Xing and before we head into possible war with Kai's forces, but it's really the aftermath of Hak's confession and diving into his psyche and past with Yona and REALLY building up the mystery of the Dragon Lore, King Il, Soo-Won's part in all this, and how Yona may be building up to be competition for Soo-Won.
Theories ABOUND and while Soo-Won doesn't want to be viewed as a god, Key Shiuk points out that Yona and the Dragon Warriors are gathering a concerning following...We get out of ONE storm and right into another, eh?

Yessss, Hak being the one to hold onto his love of Soo-won is a TOTAL twist from what we'd expect and I love it, too! And yes, Hak can walk the walk, but his is a total baka when it comes to understanding love! Our sweet idiot thunder beast! :3 I think Il expected Soo-won to kill him as well, but we don't know the "why" and I'm so eager to get to the point where we find out more! We're getting bread crumbs -- and YES, Riri needs to slap some sense into Soo-won and tell him that people still care for him. Again, the parallels with him and Eren...right? And I agree, Ju-do being jealous of Hak and the inferiority complex...I think Soo-Won noticed, too! Thank you for the comment!! :)

2022-08-26 02:34:10 +0000 UTCI love that Hak is the one that still can't let go. I expected it to be the other way around in the first few volumes but I love that twist a lot. I love how Hak can be really dumb when it comes to love. Even though he is flirty he can be so oblivious. I feel like Ill knew that Soo-won would come one day to kill him. The more we get of him the more it feels like that. And I don't know why. He just seemed to have known that one day that would happen. Your theories to Ill and Soo-won are interesting. Even though I've read this volume multiple times I never thought about it that way. I like that we get more and more little things when it comes to Soo-won and Ill. It feels like in the near future we will get more context to that. Riri really needs to slap Soo-won and tell him even after having done horrible things there are still people that care for him. Look around you my man. I believe Ju-do has a inferiorty complex towards Hak. And it seems like Soo-won noticed that too.

I really love and enjoy how you analyze things here and even though I already read this chapter about 3 times but I still didn't catch your scenarios about King Ill and Soo Won.
