This episode continues our dive into the "Sad Cake" arc, as L continues to be pitiful since he can't prove Light is Kira and Light...Light's acting awfully interesting...Hm.

That's a good point, too! Is "Boyscout Light" just the version of Light we saw from the start, under that "good boy" persona still? And thinking about the Death Note is getting his true side to come out again? So many questions to think about, but I like that idea! Thanks for the comment!! :D

Red is for evil with an outwards purpose, what this means is, in Light's mind, he is doing what is good for humanity, even if he is really in the wrong. Blue is for a selfish evil, Misa is evil to serve Kira and be with the one she wants. L is evil because he seems to only take cases that interest him to fill a void of sorts in himself. Yellow is for pure innocence, Matsuda isn't selfish and has his own sense of justice, but he would never want to kill others to "better the world"

2022-08-21 02:49:46 +0000 UTCsmt about that Light's personality seeming way different, It just made me think that , we have seen the fact that light has been hiding who he is under his "perfect student/son" persona. Just that with the death note, we saw him hiding the Kira persona and stuff yet we forget that Light has been doing it for a long time. More clearly explained we have seen lights perfect student act, we have seen Kira but we don't know almost anything about the real Light. Just as we have been having a huge lack of internal toughs from Light's side (compared to before) now that he lost his memory. It's very possible that his "different person" might be due to him still hiding under a persona, but now he's just not hiding Kira under it so we don't notice it that easily as viewers. That may be where his "I would never deceive a woman" comes from, it may be not what he thinks, but what he portrays himself as because he thinks that's what a "perfect a+ student(or smt)" would be say so that's what he says. or idk. It's just smt I have been thinking about lately since I have been playing with Light's obsession with appearance.
