This show may be the most unique thing I'm watching now on the channel, and that's not a BAD thing! The plot seems simple enough: Mob is a REAL Psychic, whose powers are being used by the con artist, Reigen, posing as a Psychic himself. But the comedy, animation, and overall style of the series is so fresh and fun!
What if the humorous tone and psychological abstractness of Neon Genesis Evangelion and Spy x Family's slice of life comedy had a baby? That's what this first episode feels like, and I'm HERE for it!

I can already see why people adore this series from the start, but I can DEFINITELY see why it wouldn't be EVERYONE'S cup of tea -- but I'm into it so much already! And YES! Hahahahaha, I did see that it's on Reigan's phone; GENIUS. I am so excited to see the journey this show takes us on, and that's so intersting about the animation! I was rubbing my hands waiting for Romania to recognize him/look him up hahaha. Im sure next episode it will be fun to compare the two of them since they are both little gremlins

2022-08-21 23:55:13 +0000 UTCThis series has a special place in my heart and I am looking forward to being a spectator on your journey though it. I find opinions on MP100 can be quite polarized. While a majority adore the series, I find that those who don't often object to the way One (the writer/artist) takes a hatchet to their expectations from shounen anime. If/when you check out the original comic, you'll find that One actually has a style which is more similar to the way that Mob Psycho is animated than the way that One Punch Man was animated. Also not sure you caught it (though I'm sure you'll get told a million times) that One Punch man is on Reigan's phone when he flips it open to use as a flashlight defensively. I will not get too far into other reasons why I love this series so much as I worry I might spoil something accidentally. I'll only say it is really something special and unique in media in general.
