Mob Psycho 100: Episode 5 FULL LENGTH Reaction!

Is it possible this is one of the best single episodes of a series I've watched? It's literally FLAWLESS in terms of character, animation, action, emotion, comedy...this episode checked off EVERY SINGLE BOX for me...and we're only a THIRD of the way through SEASON ONE?! Hoo Boy.
Reigen is more of an influence on Mob than he realizes, Teru goes through an entire Shonen character arc in five minutes, Mob has WAY more under the surface with him and I want to protect him at all costs, and Ritsu is DEFINITELY the protective brother archetype -- this series has me hook, line, and sinker at this point. So much being set up, but man, what an amazing episode.

Ooohhhhh, I actually LOVE that -- that would make a lot of sense and make it to where he's not technically lying! Plus, I love that he says "special abilities" instead of "psychic abilities," so it puts psychic abilities alongside the other abilities, making it no more special than anything else. :) That little inclusion in the speech is so cute! :) Thanks for the comment!

When Reigan gives Mob the speech about his psychic abilities, he doesn't say "psychic powers" he says "Special abilities" and in his list "people who are fast, sing well, book smart, good at talking, and people with psychic powers" my head canon is that he's listing what he considers special abilities people can have. In that list he includes "people who are good at talking" which would be his special ability. So he wasn't technically lying to Mobu at all. IMHO however bizarrely wholesome you think Reigan Arataka is being, he is always more wholesome than you think LOL. A true protagonist of his own life.
