This is one of my favorite episodes in the season so far! High School shenanigans that are innocent, but with a hint of fan service, anime references, character development, and the most hilariously self-aware side character created in a while for a show I've seen!
The humor, action, and emotions were checking off boxes for me...and for an elementary school DODGEBALL game of all things?! I can't believe we have two more episodes of this season -- just give me more Henry Henderson and Damian, please!

Oh wow, that is a really good point about Damian and his ranking over the enjoyment of the game and about playing online chess -- that is true! I just wish Emile or Ewen would play with him...but maybe he's too competitive for them. Those are really good points! Thanks for that!

I cannot IMAGINE being in the studio and hearing him say, "DADDY!" One of the funniest moments of the show so far; I loved it! Thanks for the comment!

2022-09-22 18:11:01 +0000 UTCI watched your ep 21 VS reaction before this spy family ep. You just said farewell to Bjorn but here he reincarnated as 6-year-old Bill Watkins. The anime staff did a brilliant job to cast one of the VAs known to have the deepest voice in Japan. The chance for him to ever play a 6-year-old was probably one in a million. I'm pretty sure he was having lots of fun when playing the role.

2022-09-20 16:40:59 +0000 UTCAs someone who plays online chess almost everyday, playing chess by yourself is actually common if you want to improve your skill level. what I found sad about that scene is he's a child worried about his chess ranking instead of enjoying the game. He just wants to be exceptionally good at anything no matter what it is.
