Just when you think that you can't get any more bonkers and this series can't take a turn I don't expect, Death Note DELIVERS!
Near not only finds an escape route, but seems to have the Task Force in doubts about Kira, and Light SEEMS at the end of his rope, potentially...doesn't THIS feel familiar? Except now, forget Misa -- we have a new Bishounen Prosecuter that's going to be Kira's right hand man -- and he has L hair to boot! Teru Mikami, oh no....he's hot! And possibly terrifying!

Just want to say I'm with you on Teru, except I'd add that Light might, for once, be thinking with the DN that's in his pants. Apart from all the other advantages over Misa, Teru may be a little more Light's type. Just sayin' Light might not be all that disappointed if Teru ends up "biting him in the ass".
