-- and that's not even the creepiest or craziest part of the episode! There appears to be a "monster" coming...time to roll credits and buckle our seat belts?

That sounds like a mental nightmare. Like imagine doing 4x19 to 4x21 in one video.. BLOODY HELL 😄 Episode 4 broke an hour??? What an absolute shocker!! *she says with every ounce of sarcasm* 😄 Honestly episode 4 and its contents is what I was alluding to in my episode 1 comment. The big thing about the story that a lot of people going into Monster already know. It’s like most people nowadays can’t avoid the spoiler of L’s death if they haven’t watched death note because it’s just apart of anime fandom pop culture now. So I’m glad you had no spoilers for it! Will discuss further when episode 4 reaction on Friday but oh boy that one is going to be a doozy

I'm so excited to see what will be proven from the early theorizing here and honestly, if L and Lunge had a reaction channel with Whiteboard-kun? So many subscribers! I'd be one for sure! Yes, we need fan art! I did NOT realize Tenma's VA was Dietfried! OMG -- I will have to listen for it, now, hahaha! And yes, I really have warmed up to Becker as a character and to see how his character is revealed by the mangaka -- it's so great story-wise! It has me excited for what's to come! Thank you for checking for spoilers for me! <3 I really appreciate that! And yes, with a sports anime, I feel the pacing lends itself for little 2-3 episode "binges," but with a show like this, it's like AOT or NGE, there's no WAY I could do more than an episode at a time. I bought the first volume a while ago, but I never got around to starting it because of other anime and manga I've been caught up in. But I'm so happy you're enjoying this series, and it gave me the motivation to read it :) And now I cannot wait for next week's episode 😂 as we are only at the tip of the iceberg. When Lunge was introduced, I also reacted similarly to his introduction (especially with his *typing* 😂) because I was like, what is he doing? But I know he will be a problem in the future, especially for Tenma. I love Becker as well! He's a great character, and I would even say he is a friend to Tenma, which I think he needs right now as everything is crazy at the hospital.

It’s just slowly laying the ground work for the journey you are about to go on. Also TIME SKIP TIME. We are officially in the 90’s. Maybe the fashion will suit your eyes more. 😄 This was a really good discussion of yours and I found myself nodding along, shaking my head with a grin and admiring your deductive skills. You are right at home with Lunge… oh my god! imagine a Lunge and L reaction channel WITH WHITEBOARD KUN reacting to a mystery show… I LOVE IT. Someone fanart this! Speaking of Lunge what a great introduction to his character. His voice is soo iconic to me and I love his lil quirks he has. Can’t wait to talk about him more in the future. Speaking of voice actors I was looking up particular voices for this show and I’ve being wondering while rewatching this with you where I have heard Tenma’s voice actor and have discovered that it is Dietfried in Violet Evergarden 🤯 I always love picking up on voice actors and what different projects they are on. I love that you have warmed up to Becker because that is the true talent of the mangaka Urasawa. He can literally take any side character in his story and he will make his reader want a whole manga dedicated to them. There are soo many amazing characters for you to discover and I’m so excited. I did take a look at your YouTube comments earlier for spoilers and it all seems fine. I did see some demand for more then one episode a set. I hope you stick to one because I think these episodes (particularly moving forward) need closer inspection and for you to go through them scene by scene in your discussion. And when you do sets of episodes (like Daiya no ace) you need to take more notes and don’t go through them in that way. But hey whatever suits you! I’m just here for the crazy ride ☺️
