Oh, Oh THIS may be my favorite episode of the season! Between Loid's misunderstanding of Yor's laments, the hilarity in the bar between them, and then Loid ACTUALLY breaking down the barrier between him and another person to reveal some vulnerability to Yor...Loid, you thought Yor had developed feelings for you...but that might nooooooot be totally the case, eh?
And on top of Franky growing suspicious, Anya and Becky have the BEST KID SHOPPING TRIP EVER in a short that literally made me tear up and love their friendship (and Martha) even more! What a penultimate episode for the season!

Right?! Both of those moments were SO GOOD! It's hard to beat Becky and Anya's time together in this episode, but Loid opening up to Yor was really close! Thanks for the comment!

2022-12-28 02:01:07 +0000 UTCDefinitely ^_^ Sometimes their slow romantic progression irks me, but I just have to remember that at its core, Spy x Family is not a romance, it's primarily a comedy, and it does that aspect very well indeed! So I'm more forgiving of the slow romantic progression than actual Rom-Coms.

2022-12-27 21:28:57 +0000 UTCThat's a pretty good point that she does care about what he thinks of her -- I'm still not convinced she, like Loid, has realized they have romantic feelings for each other (curse their obliviousness), but it is neat to see them slowly, aas molasses but STILL, get there! :) Though, the fact that we can joke that Damian is farther along in realizing his infatuation is hilarious! :P Thanks for the comment!

She displayed explicit jealousy and I don't think she would have cared whether or not Loid was lying when he called her pretty, if she didn't have some level of subconscious romantic feelings there. He doesn't need to find her pretty in order for him to still want her to continue in her role, so a simple desire to not want to be separated from the family wouldn't explain her need to ask Loid that question. She could have chosen anything to question him over, but she chose that, which I think is significant because it shows that the idea of him not finding her attractive bothers her.
