This OVA was PRECIOUS! I love getting bonding time with both teams and character development with Sase, who is surprisingly INTENSE about his Chevalier status!
Well, now Kirisaki is all head over heels for Masa (surprising no one) and it looks like Shu has a mission to find out what he "loves," which will make him a better archer...hmmmm...I'm SO excited for season 2, now, and cannot wait to see the development our boys get going into the next adventure!

Ahahahaha -- you KNOW?! I'm not sure on that one -- Sase and Todo have equal devotion towards their idol; I'd love for them to meet in-universe, but I'd rather have Todo go to the world of Tsurune than vice versa! ;) And that's interesting! I like both translations, but the "complete absence of self" makes more sense and is clearer. Thanks for the comment! :D
