What started out as a choice based on a bizarre premise turned into a dive (haha) into this funny, wholesome series that has a STELLAR voice cast, cute animation, and enough manga content to take up a week's worth of reading!
Funny enough, I am trying my BEST to explain how this series can be a BL! It could be the most controversial JanuYaoi entry based on that alone, but I think - with Whiteboard-kun's help - I can sway the masses! ^^

I think I liked this one more, to be honest, though! And ommmmggggg, Is Maki Tsuda's best role since Tatsu and Nanami? I think so! I love his voice in this...it's such a mumbly purr! The manga is very cute and very fun but I hate it's over -- it's one of those series that leaves you wanting MORE! :) But I was very happy I was recommended and got to watch this! I got definite Free! vibes but I don't know if the three Free! seiyuu in this helped colour that opinion 🤣 But yeah the show feels kinda cutesy but the OP is angsty. The overall concept reminded me a lot of Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid. The fact that Kasumi's hair and eye colour are quite similar to Yuri makes the comparison all the stronger! Tsuda voicing Maki I think is my favourite for all the seiyuu. But I do love them all. From how you talk about the manga I think I might have to add it to my to-be-read list!
