MONSTER: Episode 14 FULL LENGTH Reaction!

WELL...in this episode we did NOT get Tenma, but instead got the complete breakdown of two (seemingly) key characters: Lunge and Eva!
This episode came out of NOWHERE to slap me in the face -- not only with the parallels, symbolism, and themes, but also with how these characters have clear, potential "solutions" to their problems RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM, and choose to either completely ignore them...or only arrive to face them too late.
How very "human."

But literally, Eva has the WORST timing! And man, yeah, I hope he managed to get his gardening tools out of there before it went up in flames... And Benny Hill with THIS show is just what it needs! Honestly Grinch's got nothing on Eva, she literally watched a christmas miracle through that window; a family getting reunited on christmas day, and it caused her to burn down her whole house just so she could leave the guy without a livelyhood. First guy got off easy with just perfume on a handkerchief. About your final comment, now I got it in my head that the show's just setting up the foundations for a great Benny Hill sequence. Lunge & Eva going after Tenma & Dieter going after Johann going after Nina as Yakety Sax plays.
