Ohhhh, friends! KyoAni did what I love best -- they not only got us back into the sport of Kyudo with this Regional tournament, but more importantly, they set up the various familial and friendly relationships that seem like they're going to play a major part with their development this season!
Especially with Manji, Kaito, Shu, and Ryohei so far! Oh, and then there's our silver fox that apparently has a "different" style of shooting -- AND he has connections to Minato...and probably Seiya and Shu? Ohhh, Tsurune, you're sucking me into this season and I'm so excited!

I am so glad the twins are getting developed too! And Shu the RICH BOY -- I love it! Ryohei has me the most curious and I'm hoping it's nothing TOO severe, but I also watched Violet Evergarden, so I know KyoAni can rip my heart out if they choose to! We're going the Free! Route with new teams, new side characters that have pasts with our main characters, and I want to know more about them, too! The one with the pink streaks intrigues me...hahaha! But yes, a LOT OF INFORMATION! I agree, I'm already into this just as much as the last season, and we're only two episodes in! Thank you for the comment, kind words, and have a great weekend!

2023-02-11 22:18:51 +0000 UTCI'm here for the twin's character development. I'm glad we get to see how different they are. Of course Shu is a rich boy. I shouldn't have expected anything else. Oh, now I'm REALLY interested in Ryohei's home life and I know it will probably break my heart. Uhhh, that with Kaito and these two guys was so interesting. I hate how they're teasing us with these little moments but we have to wait for later episodes to find out what happend. I need to know I already enjoy the new team. And I need to know more about the one with the mask on. He looks like my type. So much information in this one episode. I'm really excited for every episode at the moment. It already feels even better than the first season. Wish you a wonderful day!!

And yes, NO wasted scenes whatsoever but it's SO SMOOTH -- I love the butler character; he's so sweet! YESSSSS, of all the stories, I'm most worried about Ryohei, because so far, at everyone's house there's been SOMEONE that each character can go to -- but...not Ryohei. With the exception of (who we think) is his sister there, he doesn't seem to have anyone else and that...does not bode well. T-T Thank you for the comment!

This episode is packed with great stuff. It's kind of amazing how much information is there. No wasted scenes. Yet, it doesn't feel rushed. And you pointed out some things that I missed on my first watch, like how the butler recognized Minato. I look forward to seeing where it all goes. Well, mostly. I'm worried about Ryouhei's story. I hope it doesn't turn out to be too sad. He must be protected!
