My first time having wine in literally a month and it's for what was originally Chapters 91-92, but then...I added 93-94! WHY NOT?! WHAT COULD HAPPEN?!
Just insane romantic gestures, mysterious and horrific callbacks, and one of the most bonkers dream in fiction! Oh friends, I don't know if I can wait for the next set. Not after THAT cliffhanger!

We'll see -- I've asked not to be confirmed or de-confirmed with my theories by novel readers, so I can experience the novel for the first time as blind as possible, but that does make sense! What merchants wanna splash money for XL and remember all their little gestures in details like hooking arms, hugging shoulder and carrying him? 🤣The merchants were not even in the sinner pit and couldn’t see the carrying scene 😆

And that image of Xie Lian is literally that! "Who? Me?" <3 Yes, you, you cinnamon bun, because you deserve it! Xie Lian is just so inept and these social gatherings, and it doesn't help that the people he ends up being next to (aside from the Windmaster) are people who are equally as socially uninterested! Hahaha, I'm not sad I read on but man..what a cliffhanger, even so! And yeah, XL wanting to hurt himself is so hard to watch, even when you know it could solve the problem -- glad Hua Cheng is there to help this time! 2023-02-02 03:19:16 +0000 UTChahahhahah your screaming at the end of the reading was everything. MXTX sure does love a tease. God, now you know why I love these mid-autumn banquet chapters so much! First the plays and all the dynamics between the gods, and then Xie Lian reacting to some in-character fanfic of himself and Hua Cheng (literally hilarious that's he's like...oh,,,i do sound like that, don't i....) and then the lanterns! So gorgeous. If/when the donghua gets to that bit everyone's gonna go wild for sure. And I just love the image of Xie Lian like...me? moi? wha????' Also another thing I just find so funny about the banquet is Xie Lian having an awkward stare-off 👁👄👁 with firstly Quan Yizhen last chapter and now Ming Yi when he accidentally hands over the wine. It just really makes me giggle. I'm both so glad you decided to keep reading but I felt so bad because I knew what was coming mwahaha. I do love that Xie Lian is such a dedicated problem solver. He'll do anything to get the job done for people, even it's to his own detriment...cinnamon bun through and through. As per usual can't wait till next week <3
