This case is already off to a VERY interesting start, as we get backstory on Abbie, and she is QUITE the intriguing character with a very dark past, it seems.
Things are getting tense with this con, as we learn about the two brothers being targeted, Cynthia has her hands full, Edamura is worried for Abigail's mental state, and Laurent just can't get enough of poking at Edamura with his flirty advances and teasing...even if there's some mysteriousness under the surface.

This episode definitely made me pay more attention to Abbie! What a cut into her backstory! I really love this series so far and it has me wanting more! Especially about our main cast! I WAS wondering about the names Sam and Clark -- I didn't know if they just went by that for the races for the publicity, but yeah...it seems....ODD. I'm glad I'm not the only one that was thinking it -- you just vocalized it! :) Thank you for the comment!

2023-02-12 19:17:07 +0000 UTCyep, abbie has a pretty damn sad backstory... honestly, poor girl has some really intense ptsd/trauma, and she is living her life so recklessly... this anime is one of my favorites because of the main cast and their stories, so I hope you are really looking forward to finding out about all of them!! hahah the two bros tho, I mean they seem interesting enough... one thing I've always questioned is the amount of "white/european" names these characters have when they're clearly middle eastern...? haha, I know its probably for pronunciation's sake to make it easier on the voice cast and audience, but like "abigail jones", girl was clearly also from a middle eastern country, "sam and clark" ??? lol whatever it's not a big deal just felt like pointing it out haha
