November will be dedicated to Patreon subscribers

I'm probably going to delete everything I have on my reddit accounts tomorrow.

I need my web site to be used more. I feel there is too much free content out there every so often. It's hard to want to delete popular things, but they don't serve my goals of making a living at this if people only listen to free old content. The give & take is relentless.

I'm not going to add new posts to reddit until December as a personal No Nut November challenge.

I'm still going to make new audios as I find inspiration. I tend to make more audio than anyone else, but I already have 990 audios on my web site. People should be able to enjoy the variety for a long time or even obsess over their favorites. I've also done over 100 script fills, but they can't be shared unless I repost them on reddit someday. I usually make a similar audio whenever there was a popular one to allow you to enjoy similar ideas.

I've committed 16 months of nearly full time effort to this, and I want to see it pay off. I need about $600 per month more to avoid losing money. I'm living so modestly as well with family and minimal costs.

I generally post more content than you can keep up with in a month. I did a bit less lately, but it was still over 20 hours added since August 23rd plus music, and there was ton of content you never heard yet already there totaling almost 400 hours now.

I hope the audience comes my way more.

I completely understand the need to make a living and why you’d need to do it. It’s definitely hard to do when you want to build up your business but also need to draw it towards ones that help you monetarily. The only compromise I’ve seen that seems to work is posting a preview or a time window for access, like available for a couple weeks before pulled back down, meaning people would have to subscribe to listen to it again. Maybe those would work in the future to help draw business to your website? Just throwing out something, you definitely work hard and deserve it!
