FYI, ilpyo's VA is Tsukkishima's VA from Haikyuu, although I think he sounds more like Shindo from Run with the Wind here that Tsukki. https://youtu.be/prCO-SulVvQ

2020-12-26 20:02:53 +0000 UTCYesss, Yuuji's reasoning is just nuanced here and I really like it -- it helps to cement him as our not "run of the mill" protagonist! ^^ And oh my gosh, the fight scenes are SO fluid here! I really like what MAPPA has done with animation this year -- even if I don't watch GOH or AOT, I've seen some of the images shown on YouTube briefly, and they look incredible.

2020-12-26 19:54:13 +0000 UTCLots of best boys here, but yeah Gojou is Ultimate best boy. I love the questioning of Yuuji's reasons for going to the Jujutsu Tech. It makes his resolve more interesting and deeper. Yeah, this episode gave us the reasons for our protagonist to move forward. Yes, the fight scenes in this are so smooth and remind me of the fight scenes in God of High School. Although the story and pacing in GOH were lacking (i think that came down to the production and limits of 11 episodes) the fight scenes in GOH were fluid and realistic. Those scenes were a warm up for the animators for the fight scenes in JJK. MAPPA has been killing it with their action animation this year between GOH, JJK and now AOT.
