Flashback time! We get some more dots connected between WuXian, Cheng, and Wangji...and Oooooh, Wangji. I'm going to enjoy your banter with WuXian, aren't I? Oil and water, indeed.
We get a little foreshadowing, a lot of shenanigans, and some shadiness with the Wen Clan not "finishing" the job they were assigned. Nothing bad will possibly come of this, though...right?

I love how much of a foil they are for each other! WuXian's antics were sooo funny, because you could just see Wangji getting more and more flustered to his breaking point. I have a feeling I'm going to enjoy these antics!

Unfortunately for Lan Wangji he is the perfect foil for Wei Wuxian they are so opposite of each other - one ridged, one carefree. And Lan Wangji is the perfect target for Wei Wuxian's antics.
