Okay, so this may not only be my favorite episode of the season so far, but of the series PERIOD.
The constant mystery with Rei this episode not only ended up surprising me, but the interaction with him and Rin? Rin's developing friendship and leadership? Sosuke's surprisingly angsty possessiveness? Oooooh, y'all, I have a feeling I'm going to like this season a LOT if we have more episodes like this.
