Hoo boy, there's a LOT of set up this episode with characters, tensions, desires, goals...everything is starting to ramp up, and it has me amped, too!

Oh THAT'S RIGHT! I forgot them mentioning that back in Episode 7 -- that's why Fujioka wasn't there. Gottttcha! Yes, the moments between Prince and Kakeru were just *heart clench*, that cliffhanger was *HEART CLENCH*, and that moment where he whispered "Go?!" **HEART MAJOR CLENCHING** I...just...that sent me! I love that he was letting Kakeru know it he could go on ahead and break free. Ugh. I love it!

2021-01-07 01:31:33 +0000 UTCThe team has grown so much. Kakeru & Prince are just so soft. Haiji and Kakeru's scene together LOVE their interactions. The "Go" is one of my favorite moments, Haiji "releasing" Kakeru to move forward and to run at his speed. There are teams that qualified the previous year by being in the top 10 finishers during the Hakone. This race is for those schools who were not in those top 10 finishers. There are 20 teams that run the Hakone. And that cliffhanger.
