JuJutsu Kaisen: Episode 13 FULL LENGTH Reaction!

NEW REACTION LINK: https://share.vidyard.com/watch/6vJ8615sJkrhSn12jfsnGm?

The moment I've been fearing since Episode 10: Mahito's domain expansion...MAPPA, you have been on FIRE this series so far! We get it: you can draw hands! ^^

This episode had me on the edge of my seat for the good first half -- leave my Nanami alone! But in all seriousness, Sukuna is terrifying (whatchu want with Fushigoro, though?!), and Yuuji vows to never lose again. LET'S GOOOO, SHOW!

I hope you enjoy the full-length reaction! Thanks for the support!

JuJutsu Kaisen: Episode 13 FULL LENGTH Reaction!

RIGHT?! This show has me on edge now, because Junpei's death was a wakeup call of "oh, ANYONE can die, now." Seriously, scary stuff. I mean, Sukuna being a friggin' BOSS against Mahito and Yuuji coming in clutch breaking through the domain...I was legit about to freakout if Nanami died RIGHT AFTER Junpei! Yesssss, like, why of ALL HUMANITY are you concerned with Fushijoro?! Our sweet boy needs a protection squad! And I'm scared/excited for Sukuna/Yuuji to see Fushigoro in action now that he has new techniques! Definitely curious where that plot line is going!

Oh god, the tension of "I am interested in Nanami's backstory" vs "I do not want Nanami to die, but why else would you show me his backstory"! Especially coming right after Junpei's death, so you know the show has no qualms about killing characters who've been very important to the plot thus far. D: Shoutout to Sukuna for carrying out his petty vengeance and saving the day, heh. I am so desperate to see where Sukuna's fixation on Fushiguro goes, but also *terrified*, lol. The last thing you want is his full attention! And narratively-speaking, I love how it was Sukuna's comment to Fushiguro implying he could beat a special grade that inspired him in ep 6, imagine how pleased Sukuna will be to see the shiny new techniques he's learned. *shivers*

Oh cool -- I love how they've inserted actual songs along with the score for this show. That makes a lot of sense with the freelance artists for these shows, but MAN. The fluidity and animation of that domain expansion was so on point this episode -- creepy perfection, indeed! The genuine discussions of morality in this show is one of the more interesting angles; presenting our protagonist with hard choices and seeing how they affect him. I know what's to come with the next several episodes, and I am SO excited to get to them!!

MAPPA uses a lot of freelance animators in their shows. They come in and animate certain scenes. But yeah, the hands of Mahito's domain expansion is creepy perfection. I love how the plot is challenging Yuuji's beliefs and making him question himself. FYI, the insert song at the end of the episode is called "Stand in the Darkness" sung by Steve Memmolo.
