We get introduced to Miya, who is SUCH a sassy catboy -- despite his antics this episode, I can't help but think he's going to become good friends with our skateboarding duo Reki and Langa...
...but just when the talk-no-jutsu of Reki's starts to sink in, who arrives but the infamous Adam! Oh my...things just got...interesting. Reki, my lad, you sure you want to skate against this weirdo?!

I hope that Reki and Langa can become great friends with Miya -- he's so sassy and I like his character already. And mannnn, Adam is SUPER creepy, but he has my curiosity! And yes, it is SO sad that asking permission to be creepy is a sign of progress. *sigh* I need more Cherry/Joe interactions, but I'm sure they're coming! And OMG, Reki and Langa's friendship is the most wholesome thing ever! It's that perfect extrovert x introvert relationship and I love it! This show continues to be super fun and has me eager for what comes next! :D

2021-03-24 18:46:56 +0000 UTCMiya is more-or-less traumatized by bad friend interactions, so hopefully Reki and the gang can provide him some much needed companionship. Adam is creepy and I have a feeling he's gonna be a fun villain. It's sad that asking "May I touch you" is a huge improvement, but yeah, it definitely is. Looking forward to seeing more of Cherry and Joe. And Reki and Langa are precious!! Just twice in this episode alone Reki was hanging off of Langa, such a touchy-feely extrovert :P And that board Reki made is so so cool! Another fun episode! I totally agree about the pacing, this show really doesn't feel like it wastes any time at all.

Miya, the lonely catboy; I'm so excited for him to be in the show more often, now, hopefully! And this show is pure sunshine. I can't help but feel better after watching it! <3

Langa the quiet yet hidden prodigy = Mafuyu a quiet yet hidden prodigy...hmm There is so much sub text that is really just obvious especially to those with deep shipping hearts. Miya is just a lonely sassy cat boy, who needs to be tamed a little. And yes that subtle RWTW reference. They're not pulling in punches in this show. This show is like bubble gum, just so much fun with it's bright color palette, it just makes you smile.
