Well, well...Siblings, Light Snows, and Port Mafiosos! Oh, my!
This episode introduces us to the Port Mafia and to Akugagawa, who is one interesting mafioso! I am so intrigued by him, his "gift," and his connection (possibly) with Dazai -- who himself has quite the interesting past!
We really launched into the action in this episode, and I'm SO here for it!

I can't wait for you to meet number 1, but that's gonna be much later too. Dazai I have a very complicated relationship with, but I'll explain once you know more or it'll be spoilers (in my opinion at least.)

Hmm, I'll keep my eyes peeled, but I can see how they would create an uncomfortable atmosphere -- still, though, Tanazaki and his Light Snow ability is really cool, and made up for it in this episode! ^^ I always forget Higuchi's name, so I call her by her first name, haha! And hmmmm...for some reason I thought her ability was mentioned, but nevermind! ^^ I am excited to get more on Atsushi and that is so cool about Rashoumon! I REALLY like that ability and I'm intrigued by Akatagawa's character, too! This episode definitely got me hyped for what's to come! ^^

And oooh, him losing that leg really floored me! I'll keep my eyes peeled for Atsushi's ability getting more information revealed, but Dazai, he really does know when to come in at the right moment, eh? ^^

2021-03-28 19:38:52 +0000 UTCHI I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ALL WEEK YESS yeahhh sooo Junichiro and Naomi are... interesting. To be completely fair, we're not actually sure they're siblings. Aside from sharing the surname 'Tanizaki' and taking their word for it at face value, there's not really evidence. I've heard theories bounce around, but that's for another day. Just know that they both do in fact, make the rest of us uncomfortable too. Fortunately it's not a turnoff from the rest of the show. Everything else makes up for it. And yeah, "sign from above" was Dazai's planted bug that he was listening to Higuchi the entire time. He knew something was very off when he heard gunfire. Rolling around on the couch, singing aloofly. What an actor indeed. And what a smart, meticulous, clever man. But of course you'd expect that from an ex-mafioso himself hmm? ;) We waste no time getting into some cool plot related details and it only gets better. Atsushi's unusual control of his ability is explained... later down the line. Because surprisingly enough, it's not just a simple "hey our main character has sudden control" trope; there's a fun reason that none of us will say because of spoilers but just hang onto that for a bit. It's not a spoiler to say a little fun fact cause if you're researching their books it'll pop up on the radar but Rashomon, Aku's ability, is actually fabric related and manifests commonly from his big ol' coat. And you can try to look for Higuchi's ability. The fandom doesn't know either.

Sadly, incesty characters are common on anime 🙈🙈 Also, your face when he lost his leg killed me killed me 😂 The finale of that episode is so good. Dazai is an expert at catching us off guard. As for Atsushi being able to use his ability, I think it’s explained later... If not, then it’s on the manga so you can either search it or we could tell you 😉
