I am DEFINITELY seeing the RWBY/Scooby Doo comparisons, hahaha! I haven't seen Death Note yet, so I can't talk much on it, but I am SO excited for Season 3 and I'm not even halfway through season 2, haha! Oh, Ling would SO have Wei's sass and be a troublemaker -- you can kind of see he has some troublemaker in him already, and I love it. Cheng is going to go gray early with him, eh? And YES! The animation is so clean and good! And ahhh, WuXian, you are fooling NO ONE. I love that Wangji is keeping (for the most part) quiet, but we all know he KNOWS. This show, exactly, I can't sometimes! XD

He’s got such an attitude on him. I always wonder how he would’ve turned out if Wei Ying were there to help raise him. Would he have inherited Wei’s sass?Probably... And can we take a second to appreciate the animation? Leagues better than the first season and you can see the difference just in that fight with the snake compared to the turtle. It may be a shorter season but they definitely had the budget. I also love that moment where Jin Zixun points at the (in disguise) Wei Wuxian and Lan Zhan looks over like “Mhmm. Who you trying to fool? You’re so obvious.” This show I can’t sometimes.

Oh man, I did not even THINK about the timeline and Yao and Xichen meeting the same time WuXian and Wangji are on the mountain! I wasn’t thinking of the timeline, so now I am REALLY intrigued…the mystery with Yao grows, y’all! The mystery is just driving me with this season and I am SO SO SO intrigued! And I snorted my coffee at your “I’M GAY” line, haha – oh my gosh, Wangji is SO past gay panic and just dropping right into the pining that I just want to scream, “GO GET YOUR MAN!” to him in this episode! Ahhh, I’m so excited for episode 3! Thank you for the kind words!!

And Lan Zhan being so protective MADE this episode! And yessss, he knows it's WuXian, so being able to tell him, while seemingly just informing Mo and Ling is sooo good! Poor WuXian just DOESN'T GET IT, and man...I just want him to find out Wangji knows! It's KILLING ME! Hahahaha! And I forget red is for weddings! Oooooohhhh, new theories now! I'm so ready to find out, and the SUSPICION GROWS! And the presence of unreliable narrators makes this all the more interesting! I'm so excited for episode three!

I was in your shoes too, to be honest, and I didn't understand who she was until the episode she appeared. Just so you know, red is also the colour of traditional wedding robes in China, not only the Wen clan's theme. Your theories are so entertaining to watch, because, you're getting closer to the actual truth, but still, somehow, getting farther away from it. The plot is very complicated and judging from your thought on the mastermind behind all of this, you will be VERY surprised to find out who it is. Because, if Meng Yao was the person, who mutilated the corpse in question, why would he throw a part of it in the Mo village and make Hanguang-jun investigate it? There's probably someone else planning to either toy with Wuxian, or help him. Also, conserning your suspicions - Meng Yao was with Lan Xichen at the Koi Tower - Jin Clan residence - when WangXian were at that hill. Something doesn't match up. He can't phisically be in two places at the same time. Or can he? The 2nd season is insane. Be ready for multiple cliff-hangers that will make you suffer. Omg, the scene with Lan Wangji defending Wuxian reminded me of something I saw on twitter once: the entire cultivation world is basically: hanguang-jun you can not associate with wei wuxian!!!!! it's forbidden!!! meanwhile, lan wangji, like in that scene from office: don't worry, I have a permit: *a paper with "im gay" written in caps* Thank you for reaction!

2021-04-12 16:00:29 +0000 UTCThe plot THICKENS! XDD I just love detective vibes, even if donghua has spun things a little differently in these couple of episodes. Love your theorizing all the way also! Lan Zhan was very protective this time. Good for him, very good. And being able to tell this directly to Wuxian as well. Even if Wuxian doesn't know he knows yet. The satisfaction on this secretly smug man. The WTF on Wuxian's face. His badass dark arts! Action is still very much the point I come to the series for. As for colour red, Chinese watchers would instantly wonder an entirely different thing from Wen robes! If you want to know the cultural importance, you can search for it, yet it will still be a nice scene if you don't. As for your suspicions, this show makes it so that you suspect EVERYONE at some point. Especially with Wuxian being not entirely reliable narrator. Which one of the sus will be the true impostor? Now that' is a journey!
