SK8 The Infinity: Episode 6 FULL LENGTH Reaction!

I find there's more and more to talk about as this show goes on, but I know in the back of my mind that angst is coming...and I'm not sure I'm ready for it.

2022-02-05 11:02:53 +0000 UTC"I'm sure the fun and happiness will just continue on right through the season finale" -- *cries in episode 7* Joe, I think, definitely sees a lot of himself in Reki -- moreso than Cherry and Langa; I think the two of them just seem like they are cold and distant, though we know that is definitely not true. I mean, I'm not complaining about the gasoline on the fire. Especially since it's hinted that Joe and Cherry know each other and have for a long time...it's past the flirty get-to-know-you stage for them, and Reki/Langa are too naive and innocent to get there....yet, hopefully. But yeah! I hadn't considered "others" being in the tournament; I just assumed it was the people we know...it will be interesting to see how it breaks down!

He definitely sees his younger self in the spunky idiot, I think. And Cherry and Langa both having perceptions about them being cold and distant, even though they have a soft spot for one (1) skater in particular. (Langa's soft spot substantially more obvious, of course!) Also this show definitely knows what it's doing. Reki and Langa hugging (even as a 'goof'), Langa saving a falling Reki, and Joe blushing as he ogles Cherry are all just gasoline on the fire. Not that I'm complaining one bit :P I'm excited for the tournament! I wonder how many skaters outside of the ones we already know will be introduced?

2021-04-15 05:27:48 +0000 UTCI love that Miya has basically become their adopted child! :) I get so sad with how much self-doubt Reki has; like, it's realistic for sure, but it's so sad because we all see that Langa is constantly praising him and is so nice to him...Reki can't see how great he actually is himself. Yes....all in perception! Perception is a big overarching theme I'm noticing with this show! And I would SO be the Hiromi of this group! I love it! ^^

LOL Langa is always calling Reki amazing, but Reiki has his own doubts about himself. How one person perceives themselves verse the way others perceive them. Poor Hiromi being the adult of the group and trying to be responsible for them all.
