I have loved a LOT of the Free! content we've been given, but this movie in its four parts was absolutely HILARIOUS -- and there was still SO MUCH given to us to build towards Season 3 with these new characters.
I watched all four segments, pausing in between to talk about them, so this is my LONGEST Free! reaction to date, but y'all -- this movie was soooo good! It definitely has me more and more hyped for Season 3! ^^

I can't believe you got to see this in theaters! I LOVE that -- this would have been such a great experience! Oh my gosh -- I cannot imagine the audience during the confusion with Gou and Momo and Rin! XD And ahhh, Rei and Nagisa are too pure for this world! Ah, I've heard some say that season 3 is their least favorite season and some say they liked season 3 the best (what a spectrum) so I am really curious how it will play out, but regardless, I am hyped! ^^ Thanks so much for the kind words!

The whole banter between rin thinking gou was dating momo was the best part xDD I also loved Nagisa and Rei’s episode, anything with those two I just adore!! (PKH REI ;)) I really really hope you enjoy season 3 (for me it was such a disappointment but I’m not saying this to ruin your experience just an opinion T.T) this entire series still has a special place in my heart however, it’s my ultimate comfort anime! ❤️

2021-04-14 21:03:31 +0000 UTCI really loved all of the episodes, but it definitely goes Part 2, 1, 4, and then 3 for me, if I had to pick. As much as I would have liked the fanfic-then-they-were-roommates plot, I think this is much more realistic and we still get lots of MakoHaru moments; yeah, Mako reigns supreme in the end on decision-making! I love how Kisumi was like, "wellllll, it's maaaaaaybe haunted." XD And AH, I could have kicked Momo for ruining this moment between Sousuke and Rin! I just hope they have more moments to talk in Season 3! Momo was just a hyper Pomeranian this movie, haha! YES, season 3 has had a GREAT set up and I'm sooooo ready now to kick it off with Episode 0 and then dive into the season! Thanks so much!!

2021-04-14 11:50:57 +0000 UTCI'm right there with ya in my rankings of the episodes, the Samezuka episode reigns supreme! Though the MakoHaru Tokyo adventures is a close second. I love the idea of Nitori and Momo playing matchmaker for their pining senpai(s). Also Rin tickling Sosuke, how cute is that? And Momo just /had/ to interrupt as Rin was going to speak freely while they both were lying awake. I really love the fact that Makoto basically told Haru that he absolutely could not choose that one haunted place. He doesn't ask for much, but he had to draw the line there! Also, impossible to believe those boys would get separate apartments. "Oh my god they were roommates." Season 3 has been set up so nicely! I'm glad you reacted to all of these in one fell swoop. I will watch and type my stream of consciousness as always =]!

XD I mean, it looked like they just went to the beach, but the camel...Ama-chan has CONNECTIONS! And that "Bird of Fate!" It's like a meme! Hahaha, thanks! :D I loved this movie; this was so fun! And it has me hyped for Season 3!

It’s so funny & cute! 😂💕 I loved that when Rin heard that someone from his team was in a “match” he says: “Even though I am here” Like he’s their dad! And where the hell did they get a desert and a camel?! 😂😂 Also, I love whenever you say “that damn bird” 😂😂😂
